“One of the tests I did was to have two 510 Globe pneumatic motors running side by side, one using traditional rock drill oil and one running PolairDrill™. We had a lot of moisture in the air supply, after 15 mins the motor using traditional rock drill oil had ice built up all over the motor and was missing badly and blowing ice out of the exhaust port. The motor using PolairDrill™ was dripping water off of the jugs and out of the exhaust but there was no missing and it was running just fine. The motor with traditional rock drill oil completely stopped turning after 1/2 hour, while the motor with PolairDrill™ was left running for 2 hours and never missed a beat. Just one of the tests I performed.”

Surface Drilling Contractor - Joy AL 67 Drills
“We had a job drilling at surface using Joy AL67 percussive drills. It was very humid, and our drill lubricators were constantly plugging with tacky deposits of rock drill oil mixed with water. The RDO that we used contained emulsifiers that were supposed to absorb the water. We were losing productivity and money due to frequent delays necessitated by stopping to clean the lubricator injection mechanism. We switched to PolairDrill™ polar rock drill oil, which we were told does not emulsify, but rejects water and blows it out the exhaust. As soon as we started using the PolairDrill™ product, we were able to complete the job without a single stoppage. Thank you PolairDrill™ for an excellent product.”
